So I did this, and information technology however shows that Windows isn't activated, do I need to wait a few days or something?
Besides, when I get to the activation setting screen, it shows my Edition was Windows 10 Pro, fifty-fifty though I didn't have Pro before, I had domicile edition, and during this install, I never got an pick to select which edition I wanted to install.

I downloaded the installer, and went through it, I selected to keep none of the files, and so the next screen gives me a summary of what I've decided to practise. It says, I've decided to keep nothing, and install Windows 10 Pro, even though it never gave me an selection to select between Pro and Dwelling house, it just picked itself. How do i go it to install Dwelling?

So i found the serial key (it was in my notes on my phone), and I went into the activation settings folio, and clicked on "change product key", I entered my fundamental, and it looks like information technology worked. I got a message saying windows has been activated, and it lets me personalize my settings besides now. Only matter is, for the edition, information technology still says Pro, does this mean at that place'due south an fault in my activation somewhere or do I simply accept the Pro edition activation and stick with it?
